Overview

The Cutchin Drive Storm Drainage Improvement Project will reduce street and structure flooding throughout the neighborhood. Located within a drainage area of approximately 160 acres, the project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide adequate drainage system capacity. The project area is bordered by Sharon View Road to the north, Wamath Drive and Mountainbrook Road to the south, McMullen Creek to the east and Sharon Road to the west.

Road Closures

• On April 8, Sharon Woods Lane will close as construction continues. The closure is anticipated to last 60 days. 

• On April 8, Wamath Drive will close between Cutchin Drive and Chaucer Drive. The closure is anticipated to last 12 days. 

• Access to residences will be maintained.

• To ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians and crew, please follow all signs.

       

Estimated Cost: $10,400,000*

*includes all costs associated with this project such as planning and design, utility relocation, consultant fees, permits, construction, and landscaping.
