Special Meeting: City Council Action Review/Public Forum/Business Meet

Pursuant to G.S. 143-318.12 (b)(2), (e) and Sec. 3.02 of the City of Charlotte Charter, Charlotte City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, May 27 at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, located at 600 E. Fourth Street, in the Council Chamber. 

The purpose of this meeting is to consider and take action on any agenda items for the regular Charlotte City Council Business meeting previously scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. in room 267 and at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber. The meeting will now begin at 5 p.m. in the Council Chamber. The Public Forum previously scheduled for 6:30 p.m. will be held during the City Council Business meeting starting at  5 p.m. or shortly thereafter. This meeting will also include the formal swearing-in of the newly appointed City Council member for District 6. 

The public may access the meeting in-person or livestream the meeting on the city’s YouTube or GOV Channel.
