Navigating City Services: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community Relations
Charlotte is a wonderful place to live, work, and play! In Charlotte, it is against the law to treat people unfairly because of their personal characteristics like race, sex, disability, religion, veteran status, natural hairstyle, and much more. If you're interested in learning more about how to recognize potential discrimination in housing, public accommodations, or employment, and what steps to take if it happens, join us for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community Relations Department’s informative session on the City’s Fair Housing Ordinance, Source of Income Protections Policy, and Nondiscrimination Ordinance. This virtual session will be held via Zoom. Registration is required. The Zoom link will be emailed to registrants prior to the session.
