Project Overview

This project will extend Dave McKinney Avenue and create the opportunity for future development to provide parallel connectivity to North Tryon Street from Rocky River Road West north to Carolyn Lane. The project will extend Dave McKinney Avenue from Rocky River Road West by 500 feet to the end of the Newell Elementary School parking lot.

Project Goals

• To improve pedestrian, bicycle and motorist access to the LYNX Blue Line
• To make improvements for all modes of transportation – pedestrian, bicycle, vehicle, and transit
• To promote economic development by providing infrastructure to support and encourage transit supportive development

Public Involvement

The project team engaged the community during the planning phase to get their input during in-person and virtual meetings.
