Queens/Westfield Storm Drainage Improvement Project

The Queens/Westfield Storm Drainage Improvement Project will study a drainage area of approximately 96 acres. If storm drainage improvements are needed, the project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide adequate drainage system capacity. The project area is bordered by Princeton Avenue to the north, Lynnwood Drive to the south, Bucknell Avenue to the east and Little Sugar Creek to the west.

September 2023

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and engineering consultant WK Dickson & Co., Inc. continue to study the existing storm drainage system in the Queens/Westfield area. Once the study is complete, several alternative solutions will be developed.
