RESCHEDULED: Mulching & Watering Workshop

a newly arrived tree getting ready to be planted in the planting strip between the sidewalk and the curb

Spring is on its way! And that means it's time to get outside and turn our attention to our trees.

Get ready by learning about proper mulching and watering. Around our community, trees are mulched in different ways: high around the trunk, in a thin layer, a high berm or not at all.

If you have ever wondered how to water, how much to water and when to water, then join the City Arborist Group on Saturday, April 13 for a fun-filled tree-mulching and watering demonstration. You'll learn all about the best mulching and watering techniques to ensure a healthy, happy tree for years to come.

Bringing the kids with you? We'll have plenty of creative, educational and entertaining activities for them, too!

Please wear sturdy, comfortable shoes and bring gloves, sunscreen and a hat. Bottled water and snacks will be provided.

RSVP deadline: Friday, April 12 at 5 p.m.

Space is limited, so sign up today!
