CATS will return to a normal operating schedule for all services on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026. While service is resuming as scheduled, CATS urges riders to remain cautious.

CATS will resume limited service beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27. Out of an abundance of caution, services will again end at midnight on Tuesday.

CATS will resume limited service today, beginning at 10 a.m. Due to predicted freezing conditions this evening and ice reforming, all services will end at midnight.
Due to hazardous winter weather conditions across the Charlotte region, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) has suspended all transit services for Sunday, Jan. 25, with anticipated service commencing at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 26.

Gold Line Streetcar service will be suspended Saturday, Jan. 24 and Sunday, Jan. 25 due to the anticipated winter storm impacting the area this weekend.
