CATS Hosts Session for DBEs and Small Businesses to Meet the South End Station Prime Contractors to Learn About Subcontracting Opportunities

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Through its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is hosting an information and networking session about subcontracting opportunities for the new Blue Line South End Station on Tuesday, July 29 from 9-11 a.m. in room 266 at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center (600 E. 4th St.).

Attendees can connect with the prime contractors, Kimley-Horn and Stacy Witbeck, who are working to hire subcontractors for the project. CATS encourages the attendance of DBEs, small businesses and firms interested in DBE certification or working with the City of Charlotte.

In addition to the South End Station project, attendees can learn about other contracting opportunities with CATS, including the CATS Facilities Unit Paving and Repair Project, North Yard Storage Site Construction, Fare Zone Striping – Charlotte Transportation Center and New Bern Drainage Replacement Project.
