Gold Line service is suspended today, Wednesday, Feb. 4, due to an unforeseen issue discovered during final testing.
CATS is announcing that the Gold Line streetcar will resume normal service at noon today, Wednesday, Feb. 4. All other services are open, operational and on normal schedule.
Due to ice and snow continuing to cover the Gold Line tracks, and to avoid potential damage to the tracks from traditional plowing, Gold Line service will remain suspended on Wednesday, Feb. 4.

Due to improving road conditions, CATS will operate Bus and Blue Line service on a regular schedule for Tuesday, Feb. 3. Express Bus Service will also operate under a normal schedule. Some select local revenue service bus routes will still be utilizing snow routes.

The planned fare study public meetings scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 3 at the Renaissance West Community Initiative (John T. Crawford Inspiration Room) and Wednesday, Feb. 4 at the Valerie C. Woodard Center have been postponed due to road conditions.
Due to continued hazardous road conditions across the Charlotte region, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will delay the start of bus and Blue Line service on Monday, Feb. 2 until Noon. Bus service will be operating on detours.
