Due to a pedestrian bridge installation on Sunday, Feb. 8, a bus bridge will be implemented to supplement rail service between 36th Street and UNCC stations from 4:30 a.m. until approximately 7 a.m. Normal service will continue between I-485 and 36th Street stations.

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will temporarily adjust the following bus routes due to road closures for upcoming events.

The fare study public meetings scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 3 andWednesday, Feb. 4 were postponed due to road conditions. Those meetings have been rescheduled.
The Mecklenburg County Pedestrian Skybridge scheduled for installation over the Blue Line (between Sugar Creek and Old Concord stations) will begin Feb. 8.

Gold Line service is suspended today, Wednesday, Feb. 4, due to an unforeseen issue discovered during final testing.

CATS is announcing that the Gold Line streetcar will resume normal service at noon today, Wednesday, Feb. 4. All other services are open, operational and on normal schedule.
Due to ice and snow continuing to cover the Gold Line tracks, and to avoid potential damage to the tracks from traditional plowing, Gold Line service will remain suspended on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
