Beginning in November and continuing through early December, CATS will begin the next phase of system upgrades along the Blue Line, which will require scheduled single-tracking periods and Rail Trail detours near the new pedestrian crosswalk by Publix. These improvements support construction of the new station in South End and essential maintenance.

CATS to Close Tyvola Park and Ride for Maintenance
The Tyvola Park and Ride, located along the Blue Line at 5703 Old Pineville Road, will be closed for maintenance beginning Thursday, Nov. 21. The Park and Ride will be closed until the work is completed. Riders who use the Tyvola Park and Ride, please use the Archdale Station or Arrowood Station Park and Ride until further notice. Barriers will be in place to block off the entrances; please do not move those. For questions or concerns, community members can speak to CATS customer service at 704-336-7433.
