The MPTA and CATS are seeking applicants for two new transit rider-focused advisory committees—the Mobility Access Committee (MAC) and the Transit Riders Advisory Committee (TRAC). These committees will elevate rider experience into decisions that affect accessibility, service quality, customer experience and the future of our transit system.

Due to planned road construction, CATS bus routes 2 and 16 will operate on temporary detours over the weekend.
The detours will take place on S. Tryon Street between Clanton Road and Remount Road, and will begin on Friday, Aug. 14, at 6 p.m. and will end on Monday, Aug. 17, at 7 a.m.
Customers should anticipate additional travel time and bypassed stops while buses operate on detours.
