The MPTA and CATS are seeking applicants for two new transit rider-focused advisory committees—the Mobility Access Committee (MAC) and the Transit Riders Advisory Committee (TRAC). These committees will elevate rider experience into decisions that affect accessibility, service quality, customer experience and the future of our transit system.

Due to the Keep Pounding 5k, CATS bus routes 5, 6 and 16 will operate on temporary detours Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, from 6 to 9:30 a.m.
Riders should expect additional travel time and bypassed stops as buses operate on detours.
Buses will detour around Morehead Road, Harding Place and Cedar Street.
