Temporary CATS Bus Detours for Charlotte FC vs. Pumas UNAM

Route: 1, 5, 7, 8, 16, 22, 26, 34, 35

Effective: Aug. 4


Due to the Carolina Panthers FanFest in Uptown, CATS bus routes 1, 5, 7, 8, 16, 22, 26, 34 and 35 will operate on temporary detours on Aug. 4, 2026, from 4:30 to 11:30 p.m.

Customers should expect extra travel time and bypassed stops as buses operate on detours.

Routes 5 & 35

Outbound buses will not stop at:

  • Brevard St & Martin Luther King Jr Blvd

  • Brooklyn Village Ave & College St

  • Morehead St & Grandin Rd

Inbound buses will not stop at:

  • Morehead St & Grandin Rd

  • College St & Brooklyn Village Ave
