Beginning Monday, Aug. 31, 2026, CATS Gold Line streetcars will begin operating using stop request service. Streetcars will stop when customers press onboard "Stop Request" buttons or if customers are waiting to board on station platforms.

Due to the Charlotte FC vs. Columbus Crew match, multiple CATS bus routes will operate on temporary detours on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 4 to 11 p.m. Customers should expect extra travel time and missed stops.
