The MPTA and CATS are seeking applicants for two new transit rider-focused advisory committees—the Mobility Access Committee (MAC) and the Transit Riders Advisory Committee (TRAC). These committees will elevate rider experience into decisions that affect accessibility, service quality, customer experience and the future of our transit system.

Effective: Aug. 23
Due to the Black Men’s Wellness Walk 5K, CATS bus route 27 will operate on temporary detour on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026, from 7 to 10 a.m.
Riders should expect additional travel time and bypassed stops as buses operate on detours.
Route 27 will detour around Monroe Road, 7th Street and several other streets in the area.
