Both the Blue Line and Gold Line will be closed for scheduled preventative maintenance from Saturday, April 25 at 2 a.m. until Monday, April 27 at 4 a.m. A bus bridge will replace all trains. From April 27 - 29 the Bus Bridge continues, but only between Scaleybark and Bland stations, to support South End Station construction.
As CATS prepares installation of a new track crossing as part of the South End Station project, a portion of the Rail Trail will be closed beginning April 19. As work is completed, sections of the Rail Trail will reopen (May-July).

36th Street between Davidson Street and North Tryon Street

Riders who need to access the 36th Street Station along the Blue Line should use the bus stops at Davidson and 36th Street during the detour. Riders traveling toward Albemarle Park and Ride can use stop 17660. Riders traveling toward Centre and Kentucky can use stop 17640.
