Beginning in November and continuing through early December, CATS will begin the next phase of system upgrades along the Blue Line, which will require scheduled single-tracking periods and Rail Trail detours near the new pedestrian crosswalk by Publix. These improvements support construction of the new station in South End and essential maintenance.

Effective: Sept. 22 and Sept. 25
Due to road construction on Parkwood Avenue, CATS bus route 4 will operate on a temporary outbound detour on Tuesday, Sept. 22, and Friday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Riders should expect additional travel time and bypassed stops as buses operate on detours.
Detours will be located on East Parkwood Avenue between Parson Street and Umstead Street.
