Charlotte Area Transit System brings back special discounted pass for Lovin’ Life Music Fest

Early tickets on sale now via CATS-Pass App!

Charlotte, N.C. – The Lovin’ Life Music Fest returns to rock the Queen City at First Ward Park from May 2-4, 2025, and the Charlotte Area Transportation System (CATS) wants to help you make the most of your festival experience.

For the second straight year, CATS offers discounted transit passes to ensure your travel experience hits all the right notes. This special deal was brought back after a successful launch prior to the inaugural festival in 2024.

Now through May 1, customers can purchase a 3-Day Unlimited Pass for $12.00. From May 2 to May 3, the unlimited pass can be purchased for $15.00. If purchasing tickets on or after May 3, festival attendees are encouraged to purchase a Day pass at a regular price of $6.60. All pass options can be purchased via the CATS-Pass App by clicking on the Lovin’ Life Music Festival logo under the events section.

The passes are NON-Refundable adult tickets that can be used on the Gold Line, Blue Line and bus system. Passes will be active from May 2 at midnight to May 5 at 2 a.m., providing unlimited rides to ticket holders during this time.

Riders outside of the Uptown area also are encouraged to use the CATS Park & Ride locations to attend the event, catching an express bus or the light rail to the festival. Each Park & Ride location offers free parking for CATS customers.
