Rider’s Alert Rail TrailEffective: Oct. 6, 2025
The Rail Trail closure for the New Bern Drainage Replacement project will be modified beginning Monday, Oct. 6. At that time, the east side of trail will be reopened beginning at Poindexter Drive through New Bern Station, and the west side of the trail will be closed at Poindexter Drive for approximately 400 feet. Detour signage will direct pedestrian and bicycle traffic around the closure, which is expected to last up to 60 days.
Blue Line operations should not be impacted by this project.
