The Gold Line service remains suspended Wednesday, Feb. 4. due to an unforeseen issue discovered during final testing. All other CATS services are open, operational and on a normal schedule.Our team is working hard to restore service soon!

Gold Line Effective: Feb. 4, 2026
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is announcing that the Gold Line streetcar will resume normal service at noon today, Wednesday, Feb. 4. All other services are open, operational and on normal schedule. Thank you to all our transit employees who showed up and kept us moving forward through the recent winter storms.
