Both the Blue Line and Gold Line will be closed for scheduled preventative maintenance from Saturday, April 25 at 2 a.m. until Monday, April 27 at 4 a.m. A bus bridge will replace all trains. From April 27 - 29 the Bus Bridge continues, but only between Scaleybark and Bland stations, to support South End Station construction.
As CATS prepares installation of a new track crossing as part of the South End Station project, a portion of the Rail Trail will be closed beginning April 19. As work is completed, sections of the Rail Trail will reopen (May-July).

Temporary CATS Detours for Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will temporarily adjust the following routes to accommodate the Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade and set up. Bus stops impacted by the detour will have signage posted with more details.
On Wednesday, November 27, a bus bridge will be in place to supplement Gold Line service between CTC and French Street stations from 4 - 9 p.m. during the parade. Streetcars will operate on a 30-minute headway from Sunnyside to CTC stations during this time. More information on the bus bridge can be found here: About Bus Bridge Stop Locations.
