CATS To Suspend Service early Saturday, Late Start for Sunday

Due to hazardous winter weather conditions across the Charlotte region, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will suspend bus service at 3 p.m. and Blue Line service at 5 p.m. today, Saturday, Jan. 31. The last Blue Line train will leave I-485 Station at 4:30 p.m. and UNC Charlotte Station at 5 p.m. The final bus routes will depart the CTC at 3 p.m.
While revenue service is suspended, Blue Line ice cutter trains will be operating to prepare for service on Sunday. Reminder these trains are not able to carry passengers.
Bus and Blue Line service will commence at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1 and suspend at midnight. Gold Line and CATS Micro service will remain suspended due to road conditions.
Customers planning to utilize transit on Sunday are reminded that bus routes will likely be detoured or delayed given anticipated road conditions. Customers are encouraged to visit our Inclement Weather Alerts page by clicking this link: , which will provide real-time bus detours.
Those using transit should be mindful of slippery and snowy conditions while boarding and exiting transit vehicles. Curbs may not be visible at bus stops due to snow, please proceed with caution.
