Rider’s Alert Routes 1, 5, 7, 35, Gold Line Effective: Aug. 31, 2025
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will temporarily adjust bus routes in Uptown due to the Around the Crown 10k event this weekend.
In addition, the Gold Line streetcar will delay the start of service by one hour between French Street and CTC to accommodate the race route. Normal service is expected to resume by 9 a.m. and operations between CTC and Sunnyside will begin at the regular start time.

Mint Street between MLK Boulevard and 4th Street; 4th Street between Graham and Mint Street; 5th and 6th Street between Graham Street and Irwin Avenue and several streets in the area.
