Both the Blue Line and Gold Line will be closed for scheduled preventative maintenance from Saturday, April 25 at 2 a.m. until Monday, April 27 at 4 a.m. A bus bridge will replace all trains. From April 27 - 29 the Bus Bridge continues, but only between Scaleybark and Bland stations, to support South End Station construction.
As CATS prepares installation of a new track crossing as part of the South End Station project, a portion of the Rail Trail will be closed beginning April 19. As work is completed, sections of the Rail Trail will reopen (May-July).

CATS Hosts Public Meetings for Gold Line Extension (Phase 3)
Charlotte, N.C. – The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will host three public meetings with opportunities to learn about Phase 3 of the Gold Line. The proposed extension will stretch from the Rosa Parks Community Transit Center to the Eastland Community Transit Center.
