Beginning in November and continuing through early December, CATS will begin the next phase of system upgrades along the Blue Line, which will require scheduled single-tracking periods and Rail Trail detours near the new pedestrian crosswalk by Publix. These improvements support construction of the new station in South End and essential maintenance.

Route: Blue Line
Effective: Nov. 6, 2026
Blue Line customers may continue to experience delays in both directions due to an ongoing electrical signal issue.
CATS maintenance teams are actively working to diagnose and address the issue. Trains are operating, but delays may occur while crews work to restore normal service.
Customers should allow extra travel time and use the CATS-Pass app to view live vehicle tracking and check arrival times before traveling.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
