Temporary CATS Bus Detour – St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will temporarily adjust the following routes and the Gold Line due to road closures for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival in Uptown on Saturday, March 15.
In addition to bus detours, a bus bridge will be in place on the Gold Line between CTC and French Street stations from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. During this time, streetcars between CTC and Sunnyside stations will operate on a 20-minute headway.
A bus bridge is when buses service a rail alignment in the place of a streetcar or light rail. More information on bus bridges can be found on this page: About Bus Bridges.
