Your Ticket to the Tee | Ride CATS to the 2025 PGA Championship

Returning to the Queen City for the first time since 2017, the PGA Championship tees off on Monday, May 12, at the beautiful Quail Hollow Club in the heart of Charlotte.  

With over 200,000 guests expected throughout the week, CATS is proud to partner with Professional Golfers' Association of America to provide seamless and reliable transportation options free of charge to all PGA Championship ticketholders throughout the week. 

With your digital PGA Championship ticket, you’ll receive access to all CATS’ services for the date your ticket is valid.

How to Ride

There will be no public parking or drop-off locations at Quail Hollow. Take advantage of CATS bus and rail services to get to the championship with ease. 

Catch a ride on the Blue Line to the Sharon Road West Station, where CATS buses will provide direct transportation to and from Quail Hollow Club throughout the event – ride complimentary with your digital Championship ticket.

Quail Hollow Club is also accessible by CATS’ bus route 43. To accommodate the influx of riders, additional buses are scheduled to service the route at an increased frequency.  

Track your ride and receive real-time service updates on the CATS-Pass app, which is free to download on all iOS and Android devices.

Temporary Service Change

The Sharon Road West Park and Ride will be closed from May 12-18, 2025. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as CATS works to accommodate increased customers during this time while continuing to serve communities across the region with excellence and reliability.  

Riders are encouraged to use the nearby I-485/South Boulevard Park and Ride, which holds over 1,300 vehicles and is only one mile away from the Sharon Road West Station. Additional Park and Ride locations along the light rail are available at stations marked with a P on the map below.
