The MPTA and CATS are seeking applicants for two new transit rider-focused advisory committees—the Mobility Access Committee (MAC) and the Transit Riders Advisory Committee (TRAC). These committees will elevate rider experience into decisions that affect accessibility, service quality, customer experience and the future of our transit system.

With extreme temperatures expected Wednesday, Sept. 2 and Thursday, Sept. 3, CATS is supporting customers by providing rides to designated cooling stations throughout Mecklenburg County.
David B. Waymer Recreation Center – Route 48x

Ivory/Baker Recreation Center – Routes 21 & 26
Revolution Park Sports Academy – Routes 2 & 10
Tyvola Senior Center – Route 12 or Blue Line (Tyvola Station)

Roof Above Services – Open weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Relatives: On Ramp – Open weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (available to individuals ages 16 to 24)

Limiting outdoor activities
