Effective: May 5, 2026
The Truist Championship tees off this week at Quail Hollow Club in the heart of Charlotte.
“CATS is proud to partner with the Truist Championship to support this major event. With more than 200,000 guests expected, public transit plays a vital role in keeping our city moving. We’re excited to offer convenient, seamless transportation for all ticketholders beginning Thursday, May 7,” said Chief Administrative Officer Elizabeth Presutti.
With your digital Truist Championship ticket, you’ll receive access to all CATS’ services for the date your ticket is valid, except for the practice round on May 6.
How to Ride:
Take advantage of CATS services to get to the Truist Championship with ease.
Catch a ride on the Blue Line to the Sharon Road West Station, where incremental service to CATS bus route 43 provides transit options to and from Quail Hollow Club throughout the event – ride with your digital Championship ticket. Customers who do not present a Championship ticket will be required to purchase a transit pass by paying exact fare ($2.20) onboard, via a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) located at rail stations or via the CATS-Pass mobile app.
Please note that there may be limited parking availability at Sharon Road West Park and Ride so CATS encourages parkers to plan ahead.
Customers can also use the nearby I-485/South Boulevard Park and Ride, which holds more than 1,300 vehicles and is only one mile away from the Sharon Road West Station. Additional Park and Ride locations along the light rail are available at stations marked with a P on the map below.
Track your ride and receive real-time service updates on the CATS-Pass app, which is free to download on all iOS and Android devices.
