CATS Invites Public to Attend Silver Line Rail Trail Open House

Join Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) in-person and learn more about the Silver Line Rail Trail project, review alignment options in the Village Lake/Woodberry Forest segment and provide feedback during a drop-in meeting Monday, March 27 from 6-7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library – Independence Regional (6000 Conference Drive) in the Community Room.

This study will identify a preferred alignment for a premier walking and biking trail in the Village Lake/Woodberry Forest area that will complement and integrate with the future LYNX Silver Line light rail and proposed station areas. The Silver Line Rail Trail will be used not only for transit access, but for jogging, cycling, commuting, dog walking and a variety of other activities.
