CATS Announces Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Service

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is announcing the CATS Call Center, Lost and Found, Pass Sales and Information offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 15.

All CATS bus routes, LYNX Blue Line and CityLYNX Gold Line will operate on a Saturday schedule Monday, Jan. 15.

In addition to service modifications for the holiday, there are impacts to routes from the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Parade on Saturday, Jan. 13:

  • A bus bridge will be in place on the CityLYNX Gold Line from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. between CTC and French Street stations. During this time, streetcars between CTC and Sunnyside stations will operate on a 30-minute headway.
