In order to conduct drainage repairs, the Blue Line will adjust schedules at peak travel times to accommodate single-track operations from July 13 through Aug. 9.

Beginning Monday, July 13, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will begin drainage improvements at the Blue Line crossing on South Boulevard, just south of Scaleybark Station. This work will require service adjustments during peak service times on the Blue Line to accommodate for single-tracking from July 13 through Aug. 9.
No major service disruptions are expected as part of this project. Blue Line customers are encouraged to monitor the CATS-Pass app for real-time service updates and trip planning.
July 13 to 26: Blue Line trains will single track between Achdale, Tyvola, Woodlawan and Scaleybark Stations. Customers should board all trains from the northbound platform at those stations.
July 23 to Aug. 9: Blue Line trains will single track between Archdale, Tyvola, Woodlawn and Scaleybark Stations. Customers should board all trains from the southbound platform sat those stations.
Directional signage will be placed at these stations and customers are encouraged to always reach out to CATS Customer Service at 704-336-7433 should they have questions or need support.
This project will install drainage improvements to help reduce the impact of heavy rainfull on rail operations.
