As CATS prepares installation of a new track crossing as part of the South End Station project, a portion of the Rail Trail will be closed beginning April 19. As work is completed, sections of the Rail Trail will reopen (May-July).
Both the Blue Line and Gold Line will be closed for scheduled preventative maintenance from Saturday, April 25 at 2 a.m. until Monday, April 27 at 4 a.m. A bus bridge will replace all trains. From April 27 - 29 the Bus Bridge continues, but only between Scaleybark and Bland stations, to support South End Station construction.

Rider’s Alert Gold LineEffective: Nov. 8, 2025
On Saturday, Nov. 8, Gold Line service will be suspended between CTC and French Street stations for the Veterans Day Parade from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Gold Line will continue to operate between Sunnyside and CTC stations on a 20-minute headway, and buses will supplement service between CTC and French Street during the parade.
Additionally, all CATS bus routes, the Blue Line, Gold Line and all other CATS services will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Tuesday, Nov. 11. The CATS Call Center, Lost and Found, Pass Sales and Information offices will remain open with no changes for the holiday.
