As CATS prepares installation of a new track crossing as part of the South End Station project, a portion of the Rail Trail will be closed beginning April 19. As work is completed, sections of the Rail Trail will reopen (May-July).
Both the Blue Line and Gold Line will be closed for scheduled preventative maintenance from Saturday, April 25 at 2 a.m. until Monday, April 27 at 4 a.m. A bus bridge will replace all trains. From April 27 - 29 the Bus Bridge continues, but only between Scaleybark and Bland stations, to support South End Station construction.

Rider’s Alert Blue LineEffective: May 26, 2025
The Arrowood Park and Ride, located along the Blue Line at 7717 England St., will be restriped beginning Monday, May 26. Restriping serves a critical function in organizing traffic flow, maximizing space utilization and enhancing safety. This project is part of CATS’ ongoing commitment to provide safe and efficient park and ride locations for our riders
The project is weather dependent but should be complete in two weeks or less. Please plan for reduced parking spaces during this time. Approximately half of the lot will be closed at a time, allowing riders to continue to use the parking area while the project is ongoing. In the event you wish to park at another location, the next nearest park and rides are Sharon Road West and Archdale.
Thank you for your patience during this time. Notifications will be sent when the project is completed, and the park and ride has returned to its normal capacity.
