CATS Announces Public Meetings for June Service Changes
Virtual and In-Person Meeting Opportunities Scheduled
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will host community meetings to get feedback from riders regarding the June 2024 service changes. Changes taking effect on June 3, 2024, will impact Uptown service along following routes:
Routes 11 and 21:
- Outbound service leaving Uptown will now travel along College Street before connecting back to Tryon Street via Montford Point Street. Service along N. Tryon Street between 4th Street and Montford Point Street would be discontinued.
Routes 40x, 46x, 52x, 64x and 74x
- Inbound service traveling to Uptown will use 4th Street to connect to Johnson & Wales. Service along Church Street, Brooklyn Village Avenue and Graham Street will be discontinued.
- Outbound service leaving Uptown will use 3rd Street to connect to College Street. Service along Graham Street, Brooklyn Village Avenue and College Street (between Brooklyn Village Avenue and 3rd Street) will be discontinued.
Routes 61x and 62x
- Inbound service traveling to Uptown will use 4th Street to connect to Johnson & Wales. Service along Church Street, Brooklyn Village Avenue and Graham Street will be discontinued.

In-Person Meetings:
- Tuesday, April 23 from noon-1:30 p.m. at the Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC) in front of the Pass Sales and Information booth –

- Tuesday, April 23 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the CTC
- Thursday, April 25 from 4-6 p.m. at the College and 3rd Street bus stop (in front of the Wells Fargo/Hilton Hotel Plaza) Weather permitting.
