The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will temporarily adjust Gold Line service and bus routes due to road closures for upcoming events.

On Wednesday, Nov. 26, a bus bridge will supplement Gold Line streetcar service between CTC and French Street stations from 4-9 p.m. to accommodate the Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade. The Gold Line will continue to operate on a 20-minute headway from Sunnyside to CTC, and normal service will resume at 9 p.m.

The following bus routes will be impacted:

Mobile Crane Work

Routes: 1, 7, 8, 16, 22, 26, 34

Where: 4th Street between College Street and S. Tryon Street

When: Saturday, Nov. 22 from 7 a.m.-10 p.m.

Jingle Bell Run

Routes: 5, 8, 34, 35

Where: 4th Street, Morehead Street, Cedar Street and several streets in the area

When: Saturday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. -noon

Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade Setup #1

Where: S. Tryon Street between Brooklyn Village Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
