Our planet's well-being is a shared responsibility, vital for all our futures
Go green and celebrate Earth Day with the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS)! To reward existing riders, inspire new riders and encourage a cleaner environment, all modes of public transportation will operate fare free on Earth Day, April 22.
Sustainability is part of CATS’ strategic vision every day, making Earth Day an important time for us to celebrate with the greater Charlotte community. Riding public transit is one of the most sustainable actions our community can take, and CATS is committed to providing the best service possible. To ensure an enjoyable ride, please remember to be respectful of our community and follow our Riders Rules of Conduct so everyone can enjoy their ride every day.
