Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Update: Mr. Miller has been found and reunited with his family.

Charlotte, N.C. – (Thursday September 07, 2023) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Person Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 23-year-old Alexander Louis Miller.

Mr. Miller was last seen in Charlotte on September 4, 2023, in the 9800 block of Mary Alexander Road, Charlotte, NC. Family and friends of Mr. Miller are concerned for his safety. Mr. Miller is known to frequent campsites and trails in Uwharrie Forest and Crowders Mountain.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks and Adidas slides. Miller is believed to be operating a 2022 red Toyota Tacoma displaying NC tag#: HBS-8709 with a roof top tent.

Anyone with information on Miller’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
