Public Notice: Donation of 3 Vehicles to JCSU PD

PUBLIC NOTICE: DONATION OF THREE VEHICLES TO JOHNSON C SMITH UNIVERSITY POLICE DEPARTMENT
Notice is hereby given pursuant to
N.C.G.S. 160A-280
that the City of Charlotte has surplus personal property which it intends to donate as more particularly described as follows:
The City of Charlotte owns three vehicles, a white 2011 Ford Crown Victoria, a black 2017 Ford Explorer Interceptor, and a black 2018 Ford Explorer Interceptor, which are surplus, obsolete, or unused property and have been determined as eligible for conveyance pursuant to North Carolina law to another governmental unit.
The City will consider the Resolution to donate the surplus vehicles to Johnson C Smith University Police Department at the Charlotte City Council Meeting to be held in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, North Carolina at 5 p.m. on June 23, 2025.
