Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Persons Investigation

Charlotte, N.C. – (Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026) – Mrs. Rubenstein has been located and safely reunited with family.

Charlotte, N.C. – (Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 82-year-old Gail Rubenstein.

Mrs. Rubenstein was last seen leaving her residence in the 700 block of Clayfield Court around 7 a.m. on Aug.4, 2026. She is believed to be driving a 2018 silver Mazda3 Touring with blue rims. The vehicle is displaying North Carolina license plate BDB5852.

Mrs. Rubenstein has a cognitive impairment and may be lost or confused.

Anyone with information about Mrs. Rubenstein’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
