Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Charlotte, N.C. – (Friday October 27, 2023) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Person Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 36-year-old Joshua Timothy Norris. Mr. Norris also goes by “T.J.”.

Mr. Norris was last seen by his caregiver walking away from his adult group home on Friday October 20, 2023 at approximately 9:00pm. Mr. Norris possibly stayed at the Mens Shelter located at 3410 Statesville Avenue on the evening of October 25, 2023.  Mr. Norris was last seen wearing blue jeans, grey shirt with a dark jacket and black shoes. 

Mr. Norris has been diagnosed with several cognitive impairments and a Missing and Endangered Alert has been issued.

Anyone with information on Mr. Norris’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
