Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation
Charlotte, N.C. – (Friday, February 16, 2024) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Person Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 68-year-old John Henegan.
Mr. Henegan is believed to be operating his family’s 2012 Toyota Camry with NC tag EKK-3129. A license plate reader hit last recorded the vehicle in the South Boulevard/Old Pineville Road area. The Camry is dark green in color but appears black and has distinctive damage across the back. Mr. Henegan is diagnosed with dementia and suffers from issues with memory and confusion. A NC Silver Alert has been requested. Mr. Henegan was last seen wearing a white shirt and tan pants.
Anyone with information on Henegan’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
