Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Charlotte, N.C. – (Thursday, August 3, 2023) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Person Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Alaiyja English.

Alaiyja was last seen leaving her residence in the 12000 block of Skymaster Court on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.

She has failed to contact any known family members and her family is concerned for her welfare.

Alaiyja was last seen wearing an all-orange outfit.  She is 5’2”, approximately 100 pounds, a thin build and has long black hair.

Anyone with information on English’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.

Last Known Location: 12000 block of Skymaster Court.
