Update: Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Update: Mr. Massey has been found and reunited with his family.

Charlotte, N.C. – (Wednesday August 9, 2023) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Person Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 90-year-old Henry Massey.  

Mr. Massey left his residence located in the 600 block of Edgegreen Drive on August 9, 2023, around 12:30 pm.  Mr. Massey was last seen driving his gray 2021 Ford F-150 with North Carolina license plate RDJ-4274. Mr. Massey was last seen wearing mustard colored pants.  

Mr. Massey is believed to be suffering from the early stages of Dementia and a Silver Alert has been issued.

Anyone with information on Mr. Massey’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
