Update: Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Charlotte, N.C. – (Sunday, April 30, 2023) – Mr. Boyd has been located and has been safely reunited with his family.
Charlotte, N.C. – (Saturday, April 29, 2023) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Missing Persons Unit are conducting an investigation into the disappearance of 80-year-old Norman Boyd. The call for service came in at 10:51 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023.
Mr. Boyd was last seen leaving the Extended Stay hotel around 2230 hours on April 28, 2023, to an unknown destination. Mr. Boyd was last seen wearing a brown cap, brown jacket, and jeans with a brown collie Shepherd mix not on the leash. Mr. Brown suffers from a cognitive impairment and family members are concerned for his safety and are seeking information on his whereabouts.
