Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Charlotte, N.C. – (Friday, Dec. 12, 2025)– David “DJ” Miller Jr. returned home unharmed.

Charlotte, N.C. – (Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s (CMPD) Missing Persons Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 9-year-old runaway, David “DJ” Miller Jr.  

David was last seen running from his residence in the 3500 block of New Renaissance Way on Thursday, Dec.11, 2025, at approximately 8:30 a.m. According to family, David might be with unknown friends in the area.  David was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants with orange Croc’s.

Anyone with information on David’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
