On Thursday, July 10, at approximately 4:22 p.m., South Division officers responded to a vehicle crash with personal injury call for service near the 13700 block of Johnston Road. Upon arrival, officers located a Tesla with heavy front-end damage and its driver, a marked CMPD vehicle with heavy front-end damage and its two occupants and a Kia Soul, occupied by a single driver. Three individuals were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. All occupants were wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash.
