Charlotte, N.C. – (Sunday, August 24, 2025) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s (CMPD) Major Crash Investigation Unit are investigating a fatal collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle that occurred in the Metro Division.

On Saturday, August 23, 2025, at approximately 4:10 p.m., Metro Division officers responded to a vehicle crash with personal injury call for service at the intersection of N. Graham Street and Norris Avenue. The Charlotte Fire Department and MEDIC also responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, officers located a motorcycle in the intersection on its side and an unresponsive rider, Joshua Alec Aguila, 30, in the roadway. A Lexus RX350, with driver Lorie Barber Hill, 64, was located nearby with extensive damage to the driver’s side.
