Case Update: Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Charlotte, N.C. – (Monday, April 7, 2025) – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department wants to thank the public for their assistance. The missing person’s family has been located.

Charlotte, N.C. – (Sunday, April 6, 2025) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an unaccompanied child and locating family members.

The unaccompanied child was located by a citizen around 5 p.m. today in the 7600 block of Aragorn Lane. The child is wearing a short sleeve white t-shirt with a yellow bear design on it and brown sweatpants.

Detectives are asking anyone that may be in relation to, knows this child, or anyone with information on the identity of this child or her family, to please contact 9-1-1 immediately.
